Pirates star McCutchen tears Achilles, out for season

McCutchen tore his left Achilles tendon while legging out a double.
He will miss the rest of the 2022 season and be in a walking boot for six weeks.
The 36-year-old was batting .256 with 12 home runs and 43 RBIs this year.
McCutchen is a five-time All-Star and the 2013 National League MVP.
He will be a free agent after the season and wants to remain with the Pirates.
