Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia has soft-launched in select countries including the UK, Netherlands, Australia, Philippines, and Ireland.
The game, developed by EA and PopCap, features new and returning characters and gameplay that reflects the classic combat of the first game.
PvZ3 is a tower defense game that also introduces new puzzle-adventure elements and an episodic narrative.
The game is free to play but will include microtransactions.
EA plans to make PvZ3 available in more countries at a later date after collecting feedback during the soft launch period.
