PlayStation 2024 Wrap-Up Launch Faces Major Technical Issues

Sony’s year-end gaming summary tool has been down for nearly 24 hours due to widespread errors and maintenance needs.

PlayStation’s 2024 Wrap-Up, a personalized gaming stats tool, launched on December 10 but quickly became inaccessible due to technical problems.
The feature provides insights into players’ gaming habits, including most-played games, hours logged, and trophy milestones, with new historical stats celebrating PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
Users reported errors such as unresponsive pages, locked accounts, and location-based access issues, despite meeting eligibility requirements like data-sharing consent and minimum playtime.
Sony has acknowledged the issues and is working to restore the Wrap-Up, which will remain available until January 10, 2025, with stats updating through December.
Participants completing the Wrap-Up will receive a 30th anniversary-themed avatar and PlayStation Stars digital collectible, along with a shareable summary card.
