PM Modi Concludes Nagpur Visit Honoring Leaders, Advancing Healthcare and Defense

The Prime Minister paid tributes to Hedgewar and Ambedkar, laid the foundation for a super-specialty eye hospital, and inaugurated key defense facilities before heading to Bilaspur for major development projects.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at Smruti Mandir and Dr. BR Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur.
He laid the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre, a super-specialty eye hospital aiming to provide advanced ophthalmic care and research.
Modi inaugurated new defense infrastructure at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited, including a UAV airstrip and munitions testing range, to bolster India's defense capabilities.
The visit coincided with the culturally significant Gudi Padwa festival and the 100th anniversary of the RSS, emphasizing national heritage and unity.
Following his engagements in Nagpur, Modi is set to travel to Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, to launch development projects worth over Rs 33,700 crore across multiple sectors.
