PM Modi Highlights Women’s Safety and Empowerment Initiatives on International Women’s Day

Addressing an event in Gujarat, Modi announced new rural development schemes, celebrated women achievers, and emphasized legal reforms to enhance women’s security.

Modi celebrated the success of programs like 'Lakhpati Didi,' which has empowered 1.5 crore women financially, with plans to expand this to 3 crore women in five years.
The Prime Minister handed over his social media accounts to six inspiring women from diverse fields, showcasing their achievements and contributions to India’s progress.
Citing Gujarat as a model for women-led development, Modi praised initiatives like Amul, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and efforts in water conservation driven by women.
