Police chief investigated for wearing Falklands medal despite being underage at time of conflict

Police chief constable Nick Adderley is accused of wearing a Falklands medal he was not eligible for.
Adderley was only 15 during the Falklands War but has worn the medal repeatedly.
The police commissioner reported Adderley, launching an investigation into stolen valour.
Adderley acknowledged the issue, calling it "personal" and referring to wearing "two medals".
The alleged misconduct has sparked an inquiry in late September 2023.
