Power Outage Hits San Francisco's Sunset District

Nearly 9,000 PG&E customers affected, with power fully restored by 8:44 a.m.

A power outage affected nearly 9,000 PG&E customers in San Francisco's Sunset District and surrounding areas on Thursday morning.
The outage began around 7 a.m. and power was fully restored by 8:44 a.m.
Initial reports of up to 20,000 customers affected were erroneous.
A separate outage affected up to 2,034 customers, mostly along 10th and 11th avenues in the Inner Sunset and in Golden Gate Heights.
The cause of the outages is still being investigated by PG&E.
