The grand prize now offers a one-time cash payout option of $260.1 million.
The jackpot was last won on January 1, with a player in Michigan securing a $842.4 million prize, marking the 10th-highest Powerball prize ever won.
Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with more than half of the proceeds from ticket sales remaining in the jurisdiction where they were sold.
