Pro-Palestinian Protest Allowed Near Israeli Embassy in London Amid Tight Security

The Metropolitan Police have implemented strict measures to ensure the protest does not disrupt local synagogues and maintains public safety.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign would be allowed to demonstrate outside the Israeli embassy, with protesters kept more than 100m away.
The time of the protest has been changed to avoid coinciding with the time members of the Jewish community leave synagogues on Shabbat.
Around 1,500 police officers will be policing the protest to ensure it takes place safely and any offenses are dealt with promptly.
Previous protests have seen arrests for hate crime offenses, breach of the Terrorism Act, and violence toward public officials.
Between 200,000 and 250,000 people are expected to gather for the demonstration in central London.
