Pro-Palestinian Protest Allowed Near Israeli Embassy in London Amid Tight Security

- The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign would be allowed to demonstrate outside the Israeli embassy, with protesters kept more than 100m away.

- Around 1,500 police officers will be policing the protest to ensure it takes place safely and any offenses are dealt with promptly.
- Previous protests have seen arrests for hate crime offenses, breach of the Terrorism Act, and violence toward public officials.
- Between 200,000 and 250,000 people are expected to gather for the demonstration in central London.
