Pro-Palestinian Protests Escalate in Major U.S. Cities

Demonstrations disrupt Christmas celebrations, lead to clashes with police and multiple arrests.

Several hundred pro-Palestinian protesters in New York City attempted to 'cancel Christmas' by demonstrating in front of Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Fox News, carrying a Nativity Scene marred with fake blood.
Protesters clashed with police, reportedly injuring at least one NYPD officer, and sustaining some injuries themselves. The New York Police Department has requested a Level Three mobilization in response to the large protest.
At least six arrests have been made, none of the injuries appear life-threatening.
In Chicago, a group of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel demonstrators targeted the homes of local lawmakers before briefly shutting down Interstate 90, the key artery connecting Chicago to O’Hare International Airport.
Pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel demonstrators have been targeting Christmas, and symbols of Christianity, for weeks.
