PTPA Files Global Lawsuits, Accuses Tennis Bodies of Exploitation

The Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) has filed lawsuits in the US, UK, and EU against major tennis organizations, including ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA.
The PTPA accuses these organizations of operating as a cartel, exploiting players, suppressing earnings, and endangering health and safety.
The union asserts that restrictive ranking systems and excessive scheduling prevent players from pursuing alternative opportunities and create unsustainable workloads.
PTPA leaders, including Novak Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil, emphasize that the legal action is driven by demands for fairness, safety, and dignity, not financial gain.
The ATP and WTA have dismissed the claims as baseless, while the ITIA has confirmed receipt of the legal complaint.
