Lawsuit Claims Negligence by U.S. Government, Accuses BOP Officer of Illegally Accessing and Selling Kelly's Private Prison Records

R. Kelly has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and YouTube personality Tasha K, alleging that his private prison records were illegally accessed and sold to Tasha K.
The lawsuit claims that the leaked information, which included recordings of private phone calls and emails, was then broadcast online to Tasha K's over 1 million followers, causing chaos in Kelly's personal life.
Kelly's lawyers allege that an internal BOP investigation revealed that an unnamed officer had accessed Kelly's records and emailed them to third parties, including Tasha K. However, no action was taken against the officer.
The lawsuit accuses the U.S. government of negligence for allowing its prison personnel to access and share Kelly's private information.
R. Kelly, who was convicted on charges including sex trafficking, child pornography, and racketeering, is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence.
