Rachel Zegler Cast as Eva Perón in West End Revival of 'Evita'

Rachel Zegler, known for her roles in 'West Side Story' and 'Snow White,' will star as Eva Perón in the upcoming West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Evita.'
Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production promises a fresh, visionary take on the classic musical, with previews beginning June 14 and an official opening on July 1 at the London Palladium.
Zegler, making her West End debut, described the role as a lifelong dream, recalling childhood memories of singing 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina' with her father.
Jamie Lloyd praised Zegler as a 'phenomenal talent' and expressed confidence in her ability to deliver a powerful performance in the iconic role.
Tickets for the 12-week run, which closes on September 6, are already on sale, with prices ranging from £35 to £258 depending on seating tiers.
