Rapper Yella Beezy Arrested and Charged in 2020 Murder of Mo3

The Dallas rapper is accused of hiring Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the targeted killing of fellow artist Mo3 on a Texas highway.

Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway, was arrested on March 20, 2025, and charged with capital murder in connection with the 2020 death of rapper Mo3.
Court documents allege that Beezy hired Kewon Dontrell White to kill Mo3, offering financial compensation for the act.
Mo3, born Melvin Noble, was fatally shot on Interstate 35E in Dallas on November 11, 2020, in what authorities believe was a targeted attack linked to a rap feud.
White, the alleged shooter, is currently serving a nine-year federal prison sentence for firearm charges related to the incident, while another suspect, Devin Maurice Brown, Jr., is in Dallas County Jail.
Under Texas law, capital murder involving remuneration is among the most severe charges, carrying potential penalties of life imprisonment without parole or the death penalty.
