Ravens Sign Veteran Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to One-Year Deal

The Baltimore Ravens have signed Chidobe Awuzie to a one-year contract to address gaps in their secondary following free agency departures.
Awuzie, a veteran cornerback with eight NFL seasons, was released by the Tennessee Titans earlier this month and is owed $7.5 million in guaranteed money from his previous contract.
The Ravens' secondary was depleted after starting cornerback Brandon Stephens joined the New York Jets and veteran Tre'Davious White remained unsigned.
Awuzie played in 94 games (81 starts) with the Cowboys, Bengals, and Titans, though his 2024 season was limited by a groin injury that sidelined him for most of the year.
The Ravens' current cornerback roster includes Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, Jalyn Armour-Davis, and T.J. Tampa, with Awuzie adding much-needed experience and depth.
