Released Hostage Pleads for Israeli Government Action

Over 100 hostages remain in Gaza following the end of a seven-day cease-fire.

Yelena Trupanob, a recently released Israeli hostage, addressed a rally in Tel Aviv, urging the government to do more to free the remaining hostages in Gaza, including her son.
Trupanob and her mother, Irena Tati, were among the 105 hostages released during a seven-day cease-fire, but over 100 hostages remain in captivity.
The hostages were taken during surprise Hamas-led attacks on October 7, and the cease-fire has since ended.
Trupanob's son, Sasha, and her husband, Vitaly, were also taken during the attack. Vitaly was killed, and Sasha remains in captivity.
Protests have been ongoing, with thousands rallying outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office in Jerusalem before the cease-fire, demanding more action to free the hostages.
