Renault Confirms Production of All-Electric Renault 5 Turbo 3E

The retro-inspired 'mini supercar' will feature cutting-edge EV technology, limited availability, and extensive customization options, with deliveries beginning in 2027.

The Renault 5 Turbo 3E pays homage to the iconic 1980s Renault 5 Turbo and Turbo 2 with a retro-futuristic design and modern electric engineering.
Equipped with two in-wheel rear motors, the car delivers 540 horsepower, 4,800 Nm of torque, and a 0-62 mph time of under 3.5 seconds.
The 800V battery architecture supports DC fast charging up to 350 kW, offering a 15-80% charge in 15 minutes and a range of up to 250 miles.
Production is limited to 1,980 units, with pre-orders opening soon and prices expected to range from £120,000 to £200,000 depending on customization.
The car will be available in select markets, including Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Australia, with deliveries scheduled for 2027.
