Renault Confirms Production of All-Electric Renault 5 Turbo 3E

  • Equipped with two in-wheel rear motors, the car delivers 540 horsepower, 4,800 Nm of torque, and a 0-62 mph time of under 3.5 seconds.
  • The 800V battery architecture supports DC fast charging up to 350 kW, offering a 15-80% charge in 15 minutes and a range of up to 250 miles.
  • Production is limited to 1,980 units, with pre-orders opening soon and prices expected to range from £120,000 to £200,000 depending on customization.
  • The car will be available in select markets, including Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Australia, with deliveries scheduled for 2027.
