Ricardo, the Famous NJ Transit Bull, Battles Infection

Under the care of Skylands Animal Sanctuary, Ricardo's condition is improving and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Ricardo, the bull who gained fame after running along New Jersey Transit tracks, has been battling an infection since Christmas.
The infection stems from a half-dollar sized 'road rash' wound on his right hind leg.
Ricardo has been under the care of the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue, who have been keeping his fans updated on his recovery.
Despite the infection, Ricardo's condition is improving and he is expected to fully recover.
Once healed, Ricardo will permanently reside at the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue.
