Ring Introduces 24/7 Recording and New Features in Subscription Revamp

The smart home security company rebrands its plans and adds continuous recording, video previews, and extended live view options.

Ring's new 24/7 continuous recording feature is available for select wired cameras under the rebranded Ring Home Premium plan.
The company is also introducing video preview alerts, doorbell calls, and extended live view options in its updated subscription tiers.
Ring Home plans are priced the same as the previous Ring Protect plans, with Basic at $4.99/month, Standard at $9.99/month, and Premium at $19.99/month.
The new features will be rolled out in stages, with full availability expected by November 5th.
Professional monitoring for Ring Alarm is no longer included in the top-tier plan and must be added separately for an additional $10 per month.
