Robert Schildhouse Takes Helm at BritBox International

Following BBC Studios' full acquisition, Schildhouse to lead global streaming service into its next growth phase.

Robert Schildhouse has been appointed as President of BritBox North America and General Manager of BritBox International, effective April 1.
The leadership change follows BBC Studios' acquisition of ITV's 50% stake in BritBox International, making it the sole owner.
BritBox International, launched in 2017, has seen subscriber numbers grow by over 300% in the past four years, now boasting over 3.75 million subscribers globally.
Schildhouse, who joined BritBox in 2022, has played a key role in the service's business growth in the U.S. and Canada.
BritBox International is set to continue its focus on delivering quality British content, including original shows and classics, to a global audience.
