Rockies Pitcher Ryan Feltner Hospitalized with Skull Fracture After Line Drive to the Head

Colorado Rockies pitcher Ryan Feltner was struck in the head by a line drive and suffered a skull fracture, resulting in hospitalization.
Feltner was able to walk off the field with assistance from staff after being hit by a 92.7 mph line drive off the bat of Nick Castellanos.
Castellanos and others expressed concern for Feltner following the incident.
Feltner was placed on the 15-day injured list and is expected to miss an extended period of time.
The Rockies recalled Riley Pint from Triple-A Albuquerque to replace Feltner.
