Roku Announces 10% Workforce Reduction Amid Ongoing Cost-Cutting Efforts

Roku is laying off around 10% of its workforce, representing over 300 employees, as part of cost-reduction plans.
This marks Roku's third round of job cuts within the past year as the company aims to reach profitability.
In addition to layoffs, Roku is consolidating office space, removing some streaming content, and limiting new hiring.
Roku expects the restructuring to result in charges of $45-65 million for severance and $160-200 million for office closures.
Despite the cuts, Roku forecasts higher third quarter revenue of $835-875 million compared to Wall Street estimates.
