Run-DMC rapper urges NYC council to renew Madison Square Garden permit

Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC supports the renewal of Madison Square Garden's permit to operate.
The City Council is expected to grant MSG a new permit for another decade.
MSG owner James Dolan wants the permit extended indefinitely.
Some officials believe removing MSG is the only way to improve Penn Station.
The permit renewal vote will take place on September 14.
