Russell Brand Accused of Sexual Assault on "Arthur" Set, London Police Investigating

Unnamed Actress Alleges Brand Sexually Assaulted Her in 2010 During Filming of "Arthur," Also Targets Warner Bros. and Related Production Companies in Lawsuit

  • An unnamed actress has accused comedian and actor Russell Brand of sexually assaulting her on the set of the movie 'Arthur' in 2010. According to court documents, the alleged assault occurred while Brand appeared intoxicated and subsequently followed the actress into a bathroom with a crew member guarding the door.
  • The lawsuit also implicates Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Discovery, MBST Entertainment, BenderSpink, and Langley Park Pictures as defendants, suggesting they failed to protect her from the assault and later did not call her back for work despite a three-day booking.
  • This allegation is not the first against Brand. Previous accusations have been made regarding rape, sexual assault and psychological violence between 2006 and 2013 by multiple women. However, Brand has denied these allegations, stating that his relationships have always been consensual.
  • The unnamed actress, referred to as 'Jane Doe', stated the assault resulted in extreme embarrassment, shame, fear and even uncertainty regarding her career as an actor. She fears being blacklisted in the industry and potential harassment from Brand's followers and fans if her identity is revealed.
  • Brand, known for his anti-establishment celebrity status, has yet to respond to the latest lawsuit. His legal representatives have also not responded to requests for comments.
