Russian and Belarusian players denied entry to Prague WTA tournament

Czech police stopped a Russian player from entering the country due to a ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes.
Other Russian and Belarusian players were advised not to travel to the Prague Open tournament.
The tournament director respects the Czech government's stance to exclude Russian and Belarusian athletes.
Top-seeded players from other countries will participate in the tournament hosted in Prague.
This follows previous incidents of Russian players being denied entry to tennis tournaments in eastern Europe since the invasion of Ukraine.
