Samsung Confirms One UI 7 Stable Release for April, Expands Beta Testing

The Android 15-based update introduces AI features, UI enhancements, and security upgrades, with beta access now available for more devices and regions.

Samsung's One UI 7, based on Android 15, will roll out as a stable release in April 2025, following delays from its initial timeline.
The beta program has expanded to include Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10, and Galaxy A55 devices in regions like India, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
Key features include AI-driven tools like Writing Assist, the Now Bar for quick access to notifications and activities, and enhanced security measures such as USB access restrictions when devices are locked.
The update also brings a redesigned Home Screen, Lock Screen, widgets, and camera app interface, alongside improved privacy features like scam call defense and live threat detection.
Devices eligible for the stable update include Galaxy S21 and newer models, with foldables back to Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, as well as select Galaxy-A, Galaxy-M, and Galaxy-F series phones.
