SanDisk Unveils MagSafe SSD for iPhones with Up to 2TB Storage

Announced at CES 2025, the Creator Phone SSD offers high-speed storage for mobile content creators and is expected to launch in spring.

SanDisk's Creator Phone SSD magnetically attaches to MagSafe-compatible devices, providing up to 2TB of external storage for high-resolution video recording.
Designed for mobile content creators, it supports 4K video at 60fps and offers fast data transfer speeds of up to 1000MB/s read and 950MB/s write.
The SSD is durable, featuring a silicone shell with 3-meter drop protection and IP65 water and dust resistance for use on the go.
Compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, the drive includes a USB-C cable and a stick-on magnetic ring for broader device support.
The Creator Phone SSD is expected to be available in spring 2025, starting at $110 for the 1TB model, with a 2TB version also planned.
