Search Intensifies for Missing Pitt Student Sudiksha Konanki in Dominican Republic

Sudiksha Konanki, a 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student, disappeared on March 6 while on spring break in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Joshua Riibe, a 22-year-old Minnesota college student and the last person seen with Konanki, has been named a person of interest but has not been charged with a crime.
Riibe's passport has been confiscated, and he is under police escort at his hotel while cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
Riibe claims he and Konanki were pulled into the ocean by a large wave during an early morning beach outing, and he last saw her walking toward the shore as he vomited seawater.
Authorities have found clothing believed to belong to Konanki near a beach chair, and surveillance footage shows her walking arm-in-arm with Riibe and friends before her disappearance.
