Search Ongoing for Four Missing Hikers in Philippines After Two Found Alive

Two German hikers have been rescued, but challenging conditions persist as efforts continue to locate the remaining members of the group in Mount Talinis' rugged terrain.

Six international hikers, including three Germans, went missing during a day hike in Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park, Philippines, on March 19.
Two of the German hikers have been found alive and are receiving medical attention, leaving four hikers still unaccounted for.
The group, which also includes a Briton, a Canadian, and a Russian, had limited provisions as they had planned only a day trip.
Search operations, involving drones and ground teams, are hampered by heavy rain and the vast, difficult terrain surrounding Mount Talinis.
Authorities discovered footprints believed to belong to the missing hikers and found their motorcycles still parked at the trailhead.
