Second Man Pleads Guilty in Scheme to Harass NH Public Radio Journalists
The guilty plea follows a series of attacks aimed at intimidating journalists over a report on sexual misconduct allegations.
- Michael Waselchuck, 36, of Seabrook, NH, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit stalking through interstate travel and the use of a facility of interstate commerce.
- Waselchuck's sentencing is scheduled for May 10, following his involvement in vandalizing homes of NH Public Radio journalists.
- The harassment began after NHPR journalists published an investigation into sexual misconduct by a former New Hampshire businessman.
- Four men, including Waselchuck, were indicted for their roles in the harassment, with one other defendant, Tucker Cockerline, pleading guilty in December.
- The attacks included throwing bricks through windows and spray-painting derogatory words on journalists' homes.
