Semi-Trucks Collide in Washington, Spilling Hundreds of Eggs onto Highway

The early morning crash led to extended road closures and traffic delays as cleanup operations were underway.

Two semi-trucks collided on State Route 18 near the Raging River Bridge in Issaquah, Washington, resulting in hundreds of eggs spilling onto the highway.
The crash, which was caught on dashcam footage, occurred early Tuesday morning around 3:50 a.m.
Both drivers involved in the incident survived without suffering any serious injuries; impairment is not believed to be the cause of the accident.
Cleanup operations lasted several hours, during which all lanes were closed, causing traffic to back up for two miles.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
