Shah Rukh Khan won the best actor award at the International Indian Film Academy Awards for his role in the action thriller 'Jawan'.
The 58-year-old actor returned to the big screen in 2023 after a four-year break, starring in 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.
Khan's return was celebrated with fireworks and tributes at the event, which he co-hosted with filmmaker Karan Johar.
His comeback follows personal and professional setbacks, including the arrest and subsequent exoneration of his son Aryan Khan on drug charges.
Other major winners at the event included Rani Mukerji for best actress and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' for best picture.
