Exoborne, a new multiplayer extraction shooter game, has been revealed by developer Sharkmob at The Game Awards.
Set in a post-apocalyptic Earth, players, known as Reborn, are equipped with Exo-Rigs, special suits that enhance their abilities to survive both human and elemental threats.
The game combines PvE and PvP elements, with an evolving narrative and sidequests that unfold within the multiplayer framework.
Players will scavenge for resources and extract them while fending off other players. The resources can be used to customize characters, weapons, and Exo-Rigs.
Exoborne will be a premium paid game with live-service and content updates, and is set to be released on PC and consoles at an undetermined date.
