Simone Biles Makes History With Groundbreaking Vault at Artistic Gymnastics World Championships

Simone Biles became the first woman to land a Yurchenko double pike vault in competition.
The skill is considered the most difficult vault in women's gymnastics and will be named the "Biles II."
Biles took a break from gymnastics after the Tokyo Olympics to focus on her mental health.
She led the U.S. women's team in qualifying at the 2023 World Championships in Belgium.
Biles now has five skills named after her across three events and 25 career world championship medals.
