Skich Launches Game-Focused App Store for iOS in the EU

The new marketplace leverages EU regulations to offer mobile gamers a personalized discovery platform with lower fees for developers.

Skich Store is a new third-party app marketplace for iOS users in the European Union, focusing exclusively on mobile games.
The platform introduces a Tinder-like recommendation system with over 240 game genres, significantly more than Apple's App Store, to help users find games tailored to their preferences.
Developers will pay a 15% fee on purchases and in-app transactions, lower than Apple's 20% to 30% fees in the EU, making it a more affordable option.
The store currently has no games available but plans to add titles starting later in March, following the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
Skich also plans to launch an Android version in May and replace its existing app discovery platform with the new store.
