Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Long Island Beach

The pilot and passenger were unharmed after the aircraft experienced engine failure during flight.

A single-engine Cessna 152 made an emergency landing on Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai, New York.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with no injuries reported for the pilot, passenger, or beachgoers.
This marks the second unscheduled landing for this aircraft on a Long Island beach in eight years.
The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the incident.
The plane is owned by Long Island Aviators, a local aircraft rental and instruction company.
