Snapchat Releases AI Chatbot "My AI" to All Users Globally

Snapchat has released its AI chatbot "My AI", powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT, to all of its 750 million monthly users for free.
The chatbot was previously only available to paying Snapchat Plus subscribers but is now available to all users.
Users can customize their chatbot's appearance and name and carry on casual conversations with it as well as receive recommendations for lenses and places on Snap Map.
Paying subscribers will eventually be able to receive AI-generated images in response to the Snaps they send their chatbot.
Snapchat has safeguards in place to monitor the chatbot's responses and ensure they are appropriate for all ages as well as compliant with Snapchat's community guidelines.
