Sony Increasing PlayStation Plus Subscription Prices Globally Starting in September

Sony announced price increases for all PlayStation Plus tiers, including Essential, Extra, and Premium plans.
The price hikes will take effect starting September 6 in all regions where PlayStation Plus is available.
Current subscribers will see the new pricing at their next renewal date after November 6.
Sony cited the goal of continuing to provide high-quality games and benefits to PlayStation Plus members.
The Essential plan will increase from $60 to $80 per year, Extra from $100 to $135, and Premium from $120 to $160.
