Square Enix Releases First of Two DLCs for Final Fantasy XVI

The 'Echoes of the Fallen' DLC is available now, with 'The Rising Tide' set to launch in Spring 2024.

Square Enix has released the first of two DLCs for Final Fantasy XVI, titled 'Echoes of the Fallen', which is available now.
The second DLC, 'The Rising Tide', is set to launch in Spring 2024.
'Echoes of the Fallen' adds new story chapters that take place before the finale of Final Fantasy XVI, featuring new battles, weapons, and a higher level cap.
'The Rising Tide' will reveal what happened to Leviathan, the Lost Eikon, and seems to bring a new location to the game, the region of Mysidia.
Both DLCs can be purchased separately or together for a discount in an expansion pass.
