Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Still in Development, Saber Confirms

After years of delays and studio changes, Saber Interactive assures fans that the anticipated remake remains active but offers no new details.

The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, announced in 2021, continues development under Saber Interactive after a turbulent production history.
Originally developed by Aspyr, the project faced indefinite delays in 2022 and transitioned to Saber Interactive later that year.
Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch recently reaffirmed the game's active status but provided no updates on progress or a release date.
Saber's CCO Tim Willits also reiterated that all previously announced projects, including this one, remain in development.
The remake was initially planned as a timed PS5 exclusive, but its current platform exclusivity status is uncertain.
