Steelers select legacy pick Joey Porter Jr. to bolster secondary in physical 2023 draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected cornerback Joey Porter Jr., son of former Steelers star Joey Porter Sr., with the 32nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Porter Jr. was a standout cornerback at Penn State and did not allow a touchdown on 275 coverage snaps in 2022.
The Steelers added four players, including Porter Jr., who can help them compete physically, especially in the trenches, against tough AFC North opponents.
