Stranger Things Expands Universe With Animated Series, Stage Play, and Possible Live-Action Spinoff

Netflix announced an animated series set in the Stranger Things universe along with a stage play prequel titled The First Shadow.
The animated series and stage play are being developed by the show's creators, the Duffer brothers, along with collaborators.
The Duffer brothers also teased a possible live-action spinoff series in early development.
The new Stranger Things projects expand the hit franchise beyond the flagship show which was recently renewed for a fifth and final season.
