Suspect Arrested After Intentionally Striking Migrant Workers With SUV in North Carolina Walmart Parking Lot

Six migrant workers were intentionally struck by an SUV in a Walmart parking lot in Lincolnton, North Carolina on Sunday.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Gonzalez, initially fled the scene but later turned himself in on Monday.
The victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and have since been released.
Authorities believe Gonzalez deliberately drove into the group of workers before fleeing the scene.
The motive behind the assault remains under investigation, but Gonzalez's family claims it was an accident.
