Suspect Arrested in Fatal Montreal Metro Stabbing

A 32-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a deadly altercation at Guy-Concordia station.

The incident occurred late Saturday night on the platform of Guy-Concordia metro station in downtown Montreal.
Montreal police arrested the suspect in the Montreal North area on Tuesday night.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the hospital following the stabbing.
Authorities confirmed that the suspect and the victim were known to each other.
This marks the 29th homicide on the Island of Montreal so far this year.
