Suspected Gang Member Wanted in Connection with Multiple Bay Area Shootings Leaving One Dead

San Francisco police are searching for Javier Campos, a suspected gang member, in connection with a mass shooting during a block party that left nine injured and who is also wanted for a fatal shooting in Oakland earlier this year.
Campos is believed to have numerous outstanding warrants and an outstanding homicide warrant in Oakland.
The shooting at the block party in San Francisco's Mission District on Friday night appears targeted, while the shooting at a Valero gas station in Oakland in January left three injured.
A person was fatally shot early Tuesday morning on Turk Street in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood near Powell Street BART station.
Anyone with information about Campos or the shootings is asked to contact local law enforcement.
