Authorities allege he joined Hezbollah in 2008 and later assumed leadership roles in two affiliated organizations in Germany starting in 2009.
Investigations revealed he organized events featuring Hezbollah-linked speakers and maintained regular contact with senior Hezbollah figures.
The arrest follows raids conducted a year ago on properties linked to Hezbollah activities, during which evidence was collected to support the charges.
Fadel R. is accused of acting as an international correspondent for Hezbollah media in 2017 and overseeing mosque construction projects tied to the group.
