System Shock 2 Remaster Set for June 2025 Release with Major Upgrades

Nightdive Studios announces that the 25th Anniversary Remaster will bring the sci-fi horror classic to consoles for the first time, featuring enhanced visuals, cross-play multiplayer, and mod support.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will launch on June 26, 2025, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
This marks the first time the iconic 1999 sci-fi horror game will be available on consoles, expanding its reach beyond PC.
The remaster includes 4K resolution, up to 144 FPS on PC, and up to 120 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, along with ultra-widescreen support.
New features include cross-play co-op multiplayer, mod support, and quality-of-life improvements such as adjustable FOV and gamepad compatibility.
The remaster integrates community-driven enhancements while preserving the original story and gameplay set aboard the starship Von Braun, with antagonist Shodan returning.
