Taylor Auerbach Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Seven Network

Taylor Auerbach, a former producer on Seven’s Spotlight program, has filed a defamation lawsuit against Seven Network, citing allegedly disparaging comments made by network executives.
The lawsuit follows Auerbach's testimony in Bruce Lehrmann’s defamation case, where his evidence was deemed relevant to assessing Lehrmann’s credibility.
Auerbach previously settled a psychological injury claim against Seven on confidential terms before initiating this defamation case.
During the Lehrmann case, Auerbach alleged that Seven reimbursed Lehrmann for illicit activities, including cocaine and sex workers, as part of securing exclusive interviews.
No hearing date has been set for Auerbach’s lawsuit, while Lehrmann’s appeal of the defamation ruling is scheduled for August 2025.
