TCU and SMU Set for Historic Iron Skillet Clash

The 103rd meeting between the rivals may be one of the last as the series is set to pause after 2025.

TCU and SMU, both 2-1, will face off on Saturday in Dallas for the Battle for the Iron Skillet.
This game marks the first Iron Skillet matchup with both teams in power conferences, as SMU recently joined the ACC.
TCU leads the all-time series 53-42-7 and has won 13 of the last 16 meetings, including the last two.
Both teams are coming off close home losses; SMU fell to BYU 18-15, while TCU lost to UCF 35-34.
The rivalry will be indefinitely paused after the 2025 season, adding extra pressure for a win this Saturday.
