Teen Charged with Murdering Four in California Home and Setting Fire to Cover Crimes

Miguel Sandoval, 19, has been charged with four counts of murder, burglary, and arson after allegedly killing four people in a Lancaster, California home on November 16.
The victims, aged 21 to 29, were shot while they slept, and Sandoval allegedly set the house on fire to conceal the crime, according to prosecutors.
A 16-year-old girl, a relative of two victims, survived by hiding in a closet and calling 911; she was unharmed in the incident.
Three dogs were also killed in the attack, and authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the killings.
Sandoval, being held without bail, is scheduled for arraignment on January 27 and could face a maximum sentence of life without parole if convicted.
